Winter season
As Emily mentioned in some comment about thermal gloves, some thoughts of a winter season came into my mind. In Ireland and UK winters are not too bad for low/sub zero temperatures BUt it does get that cold often, with frost and long spells of cold temperatures. And as you can wrap the body with thermals and extra layers, would many of you swap your fav gloves for thermal ones? And do you find them good performance?
I ask because my keepers hands are always frozen after the match in winter. And his feet too!!! It is obvious the Keeper could be standing a lot with little movements during the match, and while his socks (usually grip socks )are not so thin, his toes are always frozen as boots are thin plus little movement.
Any thoughts and suggestions guys? Would slightly bigger boots be better for more air circulation or thermal insoles? How do you find playing in freezing conditions?
Thanks!
