How important do we feel acknowledgment and recognition for performance is? This week I have made the Team of the Week and while it has put a big smile on my face and I am gassed at being awarded this (Personally I felt I performed better last week) does it help and have any effect to my future performance and development? I'd say yes! It's given me a confidence boost ahead of this weekends fixture. It has made me determined to do my best to keep another clean sheet.
