Update on trial

So I didn't get the position, purely for political reasons. The main one being my signing and affiliation with Leek Town FC who perform at step 3 level of the league pyrimid in the Northern Premiere league - premiere division. The team I trialed for were local regional Sunday league. My feedback was that the other players found me too involved and commanding. They believed I took the match far too seriously for the type of league they perform at. Which I can understand when I am shouting commands down the field and the other players just haven't got a clue how to react, as I am used to a more responsive flow of gameplay. They already have a keeper but his knowledge and ability of game-set-plan was far lower than mine, which made for an uneven match of which the other players weren't happy with.

So let's put it this way, I didn't just smash the trial, I absolutely destroyed it!

The experience was fantastic though and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
