Thank you for everyone's birthday wishes today, it's been a great day. Starting with breakfast out, a walk around Bedford, the Splatter room, dinner out with Xavier and my mum and then a cake back at my mum's house (which Xavier chose & put candles on). Kirsty

Leek Town FC Casual team competed in the Staffordshire chamber of commerce tournament yesterday and we made it to the semi finals. We were top of our group in the group stages and I only conceeded 1 goal in 7 games! In the semi final we were beaten by the team that went on to be champions, they were just a lot younger and trained by professional players, as we just play casually against each other on a Friday and occasionally have a kick about on a Sunday. However this was a fantastic day and we all enjoyed it! For a bunch of guys who have a kick about on a Friday I think we did well! Here's to many more competitive games!

So overall my WSG trials from last night went pretty well but we started the training sessions with 20 and 38 showed up fro the actual trials. 2 GK turned into 4 and it was chaos . It was more outfield based than GK based but I performed well enough. We fine out on the 18th of may who has been selected And BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!..... I have had my application accepted to do an Everton FC GK trial on Monday!! I'm honestly over the moon with this and I can't wait !!!!

Yesterday we had a tournament. We were against everyone in the top divisions. We did really well and unfortunately for us the other teams would managed to score a goal on the last second. But I’m proud as we managed to stay strong and make them all fight for that goal in the last second.

There was meant to be 6 games, however after much deliberation, 2 teams pulled out which gave us 4 games. We won 1, drew 1 and lost 2. We would have lost 3 games however I made a last minute save which kept us in the game for a draw at the final whistle! Did anyone else have any matches over the weekend and how did you do?
