Message from Tom’s Dad, Richard Burstow:

"10 days in and Tom is loving the USA, settled in very well at North Iowa Area Community College. The head coach is very pleased with him and says he is a great addition to the squad. Preseason training three times per day (fitness in the morning, soccer in the afternoon, gym in the evening) is going well, and the first ‘scrimmage’ is this weekend…

Nothing but J4K gloves for Tom — he has taken four pairs with him!!!!!"

I have had the privilege of keeping in close contact with Richard over the years, and in many ways, I’ve felt like I’ve been on this journey with him — watching Tom grow from a determined young goalkeeper into the confident young man he is today.

To see him now, living his dream in the USA, wearing the J4K gloves he’s trusted since the a kid fills me with so much pride that words barely do it justice.

Richard, you should be unbelievably proud of the son you’ve raised, and Tom… I am beyond proud of you.

This is why I continue to pour my heart into Just4Keepers (J4K) — because moments like this, seeing young goalkeepers chase their dreams, overcome challenges, and turn those dreams into reality, are utterly priceless.
