A desperate, heartbroken mum 💔
I am beyond angry. I am devastated! I’m shaking as I write this because I cannot understand how ONE person - one adult - can inflict so much emotional damage on an 11-year-old boy. My son used to be full of light. He lived and breathed goalkeeping. He had passion, hope, fire - this beautiful spark that made him feel unstoppable. And now? Now he’s a shattered version of himself. He’s drowning in self-doubt, questioning everything he used to love. He genuinely believes he’s not good enough to be a goalkeeper anymore. An eleven-year-old child should never feel that way. And what breaks me the most is that the very people who were supposed to protect him, guide him, nurture him, DEVELOP him - the ones he trusted - are the same ones who tore him apart. His so-called coach, the one who promised him the world, who stood in front of him telling him how “amazing” he was… that same man turned around and ripped him to pieces that no one else saw. How can someone build up a child with one breath and destroy him with the next? Does he even realise what he’s done to my son? No. He doesn’t. And he carries on with his life as if nothing happened. As if he hasn’t left an 11-year-old boy picking up the broken pieces of his confidence. The damage is done, and he doesn’t give a damn. And everyone around him still supports him and praises him and we are classed as pests, a nuisance and causing trouble! Meanwhile, I’m left watching my son crumble. My heart aches - physically aches - for my boy. And I don’t know how to bring his spark back. 😭 For the first time in over two years, he refused to go to goalkeeper training. He said, “I can’t dive… I’m not good enough… the other boys are better, so what’s the point?” Hearing those words from a child who used to throw himself around the pitch with joy and bravery tore something inside me. And the truth? He is an amazing keeper. So many people have told him that—coaches, parents, players. But it doesn’t matter. When a child with ADHD hears something negative—especially from someone he admires—it cuts deeper than anyone realises. It sticks. It festers. It becomes truth to them.

CALLING ALL YOU GLOVE DESIGNERS...🧤
Guys, I and my team are going to be redesigning the J4K 3G.. So for you guys who are looking to maybe develop your own goalkeeper glove in the future, this can give you some good practice. And if me and the J4K pick your design, or even part of your design - When these gloves come in the new year, we will send you one pair in each colour - So it will be 3 goalkeeper gloves in total.

Weekend
A very cold final for n Saturday I played with my jacket on it was went and cold!! Played a very strong side and lost but taking many positives out of the game! All the parents was like this keeper is mint!! And one of their players come running over at the end and went make your a brilliant keeper well done you saved your time for sure! Sundays game lost again but the ref was shocking by far the better team but the ref gave them everything!! Kick in and the player shoots so I just leave it to go in because he hasn’t dribbled or the ball didn’t hit another player so can’t be a goal and the ref give it as a goal even there manager was saying to the ref that it’s not a goal!! I was so mad and disappointed!! Got MOM though Parents Managers and Oppositions Thank you so much @Mike W for the gloves I love them!! Had a few weeks with no games due to waterlogged pitches but wow I love them!

2-2 draw
So first game back in about a month. We drew 2-2. We scored first but then the broke through I had no choice but to come out quickly and unfortunately the striker got there first. They then went 2-1 up with a bit of an error from me when I went to intercept the ball bit misjudged and they scored. Second half it was end to end I made some awesome saves and kept my team in it we scored an equaliser and were pushing for the win. We hit both posts and had a 1vs1 which we put wide. A bit of luck and we would have won. I was a little upset after the second goal as I am normally I'm very good reading and judging the game. I bounced back though and reset making some big saves and a couple of top corners. The real positive was my distribution as I was quick with my decision making throwing and rolling out as well as Spot on kicking. I think we have a break now as it's Xmas but I just want to keep on playing
