First training session after Christmas and cancelled 😞 because of the weather:(( 🥶

It been lovely to have time off over Christmas and new years but I am so ready to get back in to a routine if football training and matches. The reality is it gives real structure and focus. Although I think some matches will be postponed due to the weather it will be great to have them to focus on

What has everyone got planned for this weekend?! I’m going ice skating tomorrow and I have a match on Sunday which we can’t lose because it will put us in the bottom half of the league for when it splits in two, making the second half of the season very boring 😑 I’m excited but a bit nervous that I will make a mistake but I won’t let those nerves affect my performance! All of my training starts back up so football will be back in full flow from Sunday 😃 (granted the weather doesn’t effect this of course) Good luck to anyone that has a match

I’ve been a little quiet on here over the festive period…. Number 1 I wanted some down time as we do with the family and it was stunning 🙌🏻 Number 2 training for my son (Kingsley) has been non stop 💪🏻 Latest news he got his shot after only 4 sessions with them 🧤🧤 Keep warm keepers 🙌🏻

Being a keepers parent is a busy job…especially in winter! From start to finish!! Layers, protection and of course the pre tournament chat to get the positive vibes going and bring out the best in our young champions! Most NB I find is not trying to advise them on tactics (Coaches job), our job as parents is re-assure them of themselves and our faith in them, to accept mistakes and keep going, to keep focus, to be a leader from the back and most NB…Enjoy, enjoy and enjoy!! Remind them of their love for the game and to have fun! This brings their level up every time!
