Hi all just want to induce my self and my 7yr old son who is a dedicated keeper in the making.
Hunter’s football journey began at just 5 years old, stepping onto the pitch as a confident little midfielder with a big love for the game. But it wasn’t long before fate had a different position in mind. During one memorable match, the team’s goalkeeper was injured mid-game — and without hesitation, Hunter stepped in. That day changed everything. What started as a temporary switch quickly revealed a natural talent between the posts, and Hunter’s journey as a goalkeeper officially began.
Since then, Hunter has gone from strength to strength. With quick reflexes, fearless diving saves, and a calm presence beyond his years, he quickly became a standout keeper in his age group. His performances haven’t gone unnoticed — several clubs have tried to lure him away, as dedicated, junior goalkeepers like Hunter are rare to find. But Hunter has stayed loyal to his roots, continuing to proudly play for Kirkby Town Madrid on Saturdays,
Over time, he’s also been a valuable helping hand to other teams in need of a keeper, including The Bull, Knowsley Town, and Kirkby Town Barca. Most recently, he joined Kirkby Town Elric as his permanent Sunday team — a perfect fit, as it reunites him with many of his Saturday teammates and friends.
Always eager to improve, Hunter has had the privilege of training with several private coaching schools and visiting professional clubs such as Manchester City, Burscough FC, Blackpool, and Fleetwood Town. These experiences have helped him develop not just as a player, but as a student of the game.
With his strong foundation, loyal spirit, and ever-growing skillset, Hunter has joined this platform to explore new techniques, learn from others, and continue chasing his football dreams — with gloves on and heart in the game.
Sorry for the essay and thanks for the opportunity to learn from you all.
