Saturday marked Teddy’s final game for Deer Park Rangers — and what a way to sign off.
Leading the team out as captain, he put in one of his strongest performances of the season and deservedly picked up Player of the Match. A proud moment, not just as a coach, but as a dad.
It’s been a privilege to have a hand in coaching this group. Watching the boys grow — not just as footballers but as young people — is what it’s all about. And on a personal level, being part of Teddy’s journey and development as a goalkeeper has meant everything. The work, the setbacks, the progress… all of it building into the player he’s becoming.
We haven’t made any decisions yet on next season — whether that’s a new team for Teddy or whether I’ll continue coaching — but what we do know is we’re excited for whatever opportunities come next.
On to the next chapter.
