My son plays u12s and fell out of love with it a few months back and was at the verge of quitting after playing in goal for 5 years. We spoke to his coach about more commitment from him with training and he has got his spark back. He is a different kid. He is out his goal more bossing his area communicating better with his team and come on leaps and bounds. His team are in 3rd place in the league so looking at possibly a promotion next season. He got parents player on Sunday after a set back and they won 6/2 super proud he has his spark back and showed great ditermanation in sticking at what he loves.

Been a bit quiet on here as of late, as I have a lot going on at the moment, but, we played in a tournament at the weekend. We were up against some high standard teams, including a JPL side 🙈, and although we didn't make it past our first knock-out game, this young man was absolutely on fire 🔥 Got loads of compliments from the opposition coaches and parents 😊

It's been a while since I've been on here due to my exams. So I thought I'd share a flash back to 2017 when my journey into goalkeeping started and a recent picture of me making my debut for Walsall Women reserves at 16yrs old.

During training last night Logan and the other FDP keepers (U9 to U12) got to sit with a WBA first team keeper for a Q and A about all things goalkeeping and the development process. The lads had some brilliant questions and learnt a lot from the experience.
