Pre Match Warm-up
What is everyone's pre match warm up routine? Looking to tweak mine / get some pointers on my current routine
Drive to game - pre match playlist on
Change into kit - pre match playlist on (in ear)
Onto pitch - Check surface conditions (mental warmup)
Warm up - Light jog, side steps and dynamic stretches
- Footwork (forward and backward movement)
- Stretches
- Sprints
Handling - Routine handling (central kicks to hands)
- Handling and movement work
If time will take a few crosses as well
Back into changing room - Talk from manager and I will intake an energy shot/gel
Is there anything you would change / anything you do differently that benefits you on a matchday?
