Positive reinforcement 😍🤩

On Wednesday Wilson had a last minute game, he normally shares game time with another goal keeper but he was away for Easter. So Wilson was given the chance to play the whole match - (back story) most game days Wilson will have a few negative moments before the match and possibly during where I have to try and pull him out he can also get very distracted during the game and be silly.

This small gesture was such a boost to Wilson’s confidence he warmed up brilliantly and stayed focused and confident during the whole game. He made some great saves and earnt parents player of the match. I also got a message from the manager of the other team saying how great he played. 🤩💪🏻

Don’t get me wrong we had a couple of little dances during the match but I’m pretty sure this is part of his way to help him focus 🤣🤦‍♀️💙
