New rules
Hi there! I’ve been a bit absent lately—too much to do.
This year, Adrian is playing in the U14 Elite League. That means 500 km round trips again (he left at 11 a.m. and got home at midnight). He’s already played two matches, and won both. New rules have been introduced this year:
– If the score difference is 4 or greater (e.g., 4-0, 6-2), the following applies: The leading team may only score from inside the opponent's penalty area (if a goal is scored from outside it, the goal will not count, and the opposing team will restart play from inside their own penalty area).
– If the score difference is 6 or greater (e.g., 6-0, 8-2), the following applies: The leading team may only score from inside the opponent's penalty area, provided that all team players (except the goalkeeper) are in the opponent's half of the field (if a goal is scored in violation of this rule, the goal will not count, and the opposing team will restart play from inside their own penalty area).
– If the score difference is 9 or greater (e.g., 9-0, 11-2), the following applies: The leading team may only score from inside the opponent's penalty area, provided that the player scoring strikes the ball without taking a touch to control it first, and provided that all team players (except the goalkeeper) are in the opponent's half of the field (if a goal is scored in violation of this rule, the goal will not count, and the opposing team will restart play from inside their own penalty area).
I’m curious—do you have rules like this?
