Just got here!

Hello all - I just heard about this group about an hour ago and I joined right away.

I play DnD 5e 2014. I learned from my kids in 2018 and jumped straight in. I've done a reasonable amount of in-person play and DMing, but the pandemic pushed us online where I've played via video group chat on Roll20 - until I discovered playing via text only, which I find is the most immersive experience I've found in DnD. (Happy to share my experience with that if anyone is interested.)

Right now I'm in the final act of my homebrew (text) campaign which has been going for almost 4 years. I'm also running a live game to introduce seniors to DnD at the local library using the Dragons of Stormwreck Isle pack.

Current interests are running huge battles (because wrapping up my campaign), philosophy of/aproaches to TTRPGs by designers and GMs, running more exciting games generally.
