Sister… can we talk about sleep for a minute? 🌸🦋 Not the cute “early to bed” quote kind.The real kind. The kind where you’re exhausted…but your brain won’t turn off. The kind where you wake up at 2:37am thinking about everything you didn’t finish. The kind where you say, “I’ll start over tomorrow”… but tomorrow comes and you’re running on fumes. 🌷 Here’s the truth: Sleep is not laziness.Sleep is stewardship. 🌼 Even in the beginning, God modeled rhythm. In Genesis 2:2, He rested. Not because He was tired — but because rhythm is holy. 🕊️🌺 And yet… we wear exhaustion like a badge of honor.We glorify busy.We normalize burnout.We silence our bodies. But your body is not your enemy, its a gift. 🌹🦋 Let me ask you something 👇🏽 Are you tired because: A) You’re going to bed too late? B) You’re scrolling to “wind down”? 📱🌸 C) Your mind is anxious and won’t settle? 🌼 D) You’re overcommitted and under-rested? 🌻 E) All of the above? 🦋 Drop the letter that feels like you in the comments. Yesterday, I had a 1:1 Call with the amazing, @Naomi Adek And she reminded me of something powerful! If I’m walking through hardship or just an unfamiliar season — but I know I’m in God’s will — then I can put it back on God. For those that don't know, I'm currently traveling abroad with my husband and daughter. And let me tell you - It is not easy. I don't really have a set routine... Meals are often sporadic... It can feel like my health goals are taking the backseat... etc. etc. However, I know that I'm where I'm supposed to be - even if its uncomfortable or not ideal. Obedience is what He asks of us. But the outcome is up to Him. Sometimes we obey…and then quietly pick the stress back up.🙋🏻‍♀️ We replay the “what ifs.” We're hard on ourselves. We try to manage and control every detail. But if you know you’re being obedient —if you’ve sought Him, prayed, and followed through —then the weight of the results do not belong to you. Put that on God! So I do the best I can -- with meal planning... with portion control... with exercise... and trust God with the rest! Obedience is our responsibility. Provision, protection, and outcome are His. This was the exact reminder I needed! And maybe this is your reminder too -- to release it again. Is there something in your health journey that you need to put back into God’s hands today? 💛
