Anyone else ever set their clocks 12 minutes ahead, so they tricked their brains into thinking they got a few more minutes of sleep, focused on getting ready faster because they thought they had less time, then felt a little surge of relief when the time came to leave and they still had 12 minutes to finish?
What are your best/weirdest hacks to keep yourself on schedule?
Note, the 12 minutes was intentional. Long enough that something meaningful could be completed, short enough that it didn't make a huge difference, and not an even 10 so my brain had a harder time doing the math, so it just accepted it as truth. I sometimes did the quick math, but that still left 2 minutes to finish a quick task and still get out on time.
