This Has Been The Best ADHD Purchase I've Ever Made.
The thing I've struggled with more than anything in managing my ADHD is my phone addiction. Telling myself I'll scroll for a few minutes would somehow turn into hour long sessions. Sometimes, I would grab my phone to check an email or do something work/business related, and subconsciously open TikTok and scroll for way too long. My screen time was upwards of 12 hours at some points, especially on days I didn't take my Vyvanse.
I kept seeing these ads for a Brick, but I never bought it because of how embarrassing it was to have to admit that I needed a physical device to stay off my phone. I finally bought it on an impulse, and it has genuinely changed my life.
It's basically just a device that locks apps. You tap the brick to lock the apps, and you can't unlock them until you physically tap your phone on the device again. So if you just put it somewhere far away, you'd have to physically leave your workspace, walk all the way over there, and tap. Even when I reach for my phone to open one of the apps, I literally can't, so I'm forced to stay locked in to my work.
LOL, this post sounds like an ad, but I promise I'm just sharing something that has helped me a ton. I wish I could make some money off how many people I've recommended it to ๐Ÿ˜‚.
