Day 17 Challenge: 🧱 If your business was to 10x what would break?
You'd think this would be a good problem to have.
But this scenario is your worst nightmare if you are not ready for it.
It happened to me, we'll I didn't get to 10x because the 'wheels fell off' well before then.
COVID was the perfect storm for eCom / SaaS businesses.
It was early days in my Saas business, I wasn't ready for the flood gates to open.
Once sales is not the problem, the problem becomes 'capacity'.
The ability to deliver consistently and quickly with quality.
Our product was not fully mature or featured.
In fact I told clients it was a 'headless app' because we hadn't fully finished the UI.
All the cool kids were building headless apps, and it didn't really need a UI to work anyways.
We grew quickly, I doubled our staff from 7 to 15 in about 6 months.
It was one of the most stressful periods of my life.
It pained me to turn business away, but It's better to say no if you can't deliver on your promise.
Have you hit the capacity wall? What broke for you?
Systems? Cash flow? (yes, hiring is expensive, requires good margins), Delivery?, Quality?
