God's goodness removes the sin that separates us from Him. Because of Jesus' work on the cross, we are forgiven from sin and have eternal life as we believe in God. Lord, thank you for Your protection and lifting up our heads. We seem to be distressed, discouraged, and fearful at each turn. But God is our shield, protecting us from the spirits of this world. Let us take comfort that God protects us from our enemies. People are NOT our enemies. But the spirits of wickedness, sin, anxiety, fear, and other spirits that would keep us from godly living. Thank the Lord for protecting and encouraging us in our daily walk.

The purpose of each Christian is to build up God's Kingdom. Too often, we tend to focus on our own problems, weaknesses, past, difficulties, and insecurities. However, God's Kingdom is more important and bigger than any individual. Let us do what we can, with our gifts, talents, passions, time, money, all that we can to build up God's Kingdom. All of us as children of God have a role to do in building up God's Kingdom. Each one of us can contribute to the cause of evangelism, even if it is just living the right way before others. Let us do well to love the Lord and serve our neighbors, showing them the love of God.
