Let us be more invested to the relationship with Christ more than any person, place, or thing. Only what we do for Christ has eternal value, so let us dedicate ourselves to good works and to the work of God's Kingdom.

Matthew 24:36 "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father." This verse teaches important lessons. 1. Jehovah alone knows the exact time. Neither humans, angels, nor even Jesus (while on earth) knew the precise day and hour. That knowledge belonged exclusively to the Father. 2. We can recognize the season—but not the date. Just a few verses earlier, Jesus said that when his followers saw the foretold events, they would know that the end was near. They could identify the period, but never calculate the exact day or hour. 3. It rules out date-setting. Throughout history, many have tried to predict the exact end. Jesus' own words show why such efforts are misguided. Instead of calculating dates, Christians are to remain spiritually alert.
