Let us trust in the wisdom of God and turn away from that which is wrong. We should never be arrogant about our own intelligence and wisdom. Whatever wisdom we have is a gift from God. We should never pat ourselves on the back too much for doing well. Being too prideful in ourselves is a setup for a fall. Because God gives good gifts to us. And let us turn from wrong doing. This means wrong thinking and wrong behavior. And whenever we struggle, we can lean on God's promises, His strength, and His Words to help us through.

The mind is the real battlefield for us. Thinking the right way can lead to an abundant, purposeful, meaningful, fulfilling life. Thinking the wrong way leads us into a prison of regret, disappointment, unfulfilled potential, and lack of results we desire. The way that leads us right thinking is through God's Word and His Spirit. God's Word leads us into all truth and His Spirit enables us to walk out this truth. Let us look to and depend on God's Word to renew our minds.

This is hand lettering featuring Matthew 6:9. Matthew 6:9 is the beginning of The Lord's Prayer. I wanted to keep it simple. It turned out well.

There is a lot in our world to be fearful and anxious about. If we are just looking at the news and believe what the media is saying, it's easy to become afraid in our thoughts and spirits. Even our own bank accounts, relationships, situations, and circumstances may be telling us that we are doomed. But, God's Word promises that He is with us. God protects and provides for us. But, we have to look to and depend upon Him. Let us take God at His Word and lean on Him when we are weak, anxious, and afraid.

No person alone is an island. We all need each other. One of the greatest tricks of the enemy is to keep us divided. We see this played out through politics and social media all the time. There is a better way than division among each other. The Bible tells us to care for each other, to help carry the burdens of others. We help carry each others burdens by praying for others, giving of our time, talent, money, resources, a listening ear, being compassionate. Let us always be quick to respond to others in love, especially to those in need. The focus of our hearts, especially as children of God, is to build bridges, not walls for each other.
