Okay so 2 days delayed but here is my day 3! I love how this is so self-paced, honestly it is the only way it works with three little ones.
Woke up ready to just get it done. I managed to sneak out onto the back porch barefoot while the baby was down and my husband had the other two. Standing there with my feet on the actual cold ground doing that vitality shock body slapping—wow. It completely woke up my skin and just shook off all that early morning mom exhaustion.
By afternoon things got a little wild as usual, but I still made it happen. I went out into the backyard while the kids were running around playing. I just closed my eyes for the fascial unwinding and let my spine and shoulders move however they wanted to under the open sky. Probably looked so funny if the neighbors were watching, but letting go of the tension felt amazing.
Then tonight, once all three kids were finally tucked in and sleeping, I could finally breathe. I laid down and did the somatic containment hold. Just holding my own shoulders in absolute stillness and feeling that warmth... it completely turned off my busy mom-brain engine after such a long day.
Looking back, my biggest breakthrough from this whole 3-day reset is that I don't need a perfect, quiet hour to take care of myself. Even in the middle of the crazy rush and beautiful motherhood chaos, I can still find a few minutes to connect with my body, melt the heavy armor off my shoulders, and claim my biology. I feel so much lighter and just really proud of myself for finishing this.
Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!
