Daily Work, Dec 2025, Week 3
(Dec 13) Had some painting and photography wins this weekend. This model has become my muse. Even though she has a 'round' Asian face which I usually avoid 🤣 I can draw and paint her well. She is also incredible warm, professional and a joy to work with. She has such a cool and kind personality besides being incredibly beautiful, she gives me hope for society in a way. PS. the first painting is live alla-prima, about 2.5 hours. 👇Anyway scroll down for more photos and stuff...

Whooh
Finally had some time today. So I drew a reference I liked, even though it is quite complex (I think).

Daily Practice (8th of Dec)
Another day of drawing. I did some rotating objects from imagination. Well, rotating is from imagination, the objects were there in front of me, just at a wrong angle. I also did one copy and two of my own figures. I also doodled a guy from imagination during a work call.

Daily Work, Dec 25, Week 2
(Dec 6 - 7) Some watercolor wins from the life drawing session. I'm trying to be a little bolder with color and use more green. Normally I use burnt umber and blue which I am very, very familiar with. This combo is Alizarin crimson and Viridian green. It's new to me so I don't quite know how to control and transition the greys yet into flesh tones. The greys it makes are very, very pretty to me. I will keep practicing this new combo. I also used mostly the big 1/2" flat brush like Nathan. It's very uncomfortable and a little scary, but it forces me to be better painter, a better 'mass artist', a better mark maker, which I desperately need.
