My 1.5-Year Transformation Under Ron Lemen (Now Chris Included) โ What โReal Progressโ Actually Looks Like
@Chris Legaspi @Subham Sharma @Janet Abrahams When I first started with Ron Lemen, he asked me how many years I had been drawing. I told him: โTen years.โ He looked at my work and said, โYouโve been doodling for ten years โ not learning for ten years.โ That hit me hardโฆ but it also changed everything. So I rebuilt everything from the ground up: - Learning structure and armatures - Learning perspective for real - Drawing from life every day - Training my eye instead of relying on shortcuts - Slowing down and actually studying, not just โdrawing cool stuffโ And now, 1.5 years later, here is my before/after: These improvements didnโt happen because Iโm โtalented.โ They happened because I finally stopped doodling and started learning. @Chris Legaspi advice helped a lot also as it correlates with Ron Advice as well โญ If youโre in this group and youโre struggling, remember this: You are NOT behind. You are NOT slow. You are simply early in the real learning process. Once you commit to fundamentals, everything starts changing. Not instantly โ but steadily, noticeably, permanently. Keep going. Stay consistent. Study deliberately. And give yourself the time and the humility required to grow. If my work can transform like this โ yours absolutely will too. Wishing all of you massive progress this year. Letโs get better together. ๐ช๐จ First three images are before the rest are after
