Daily Practice (2nd of Feb)
I wasn't particularly productive in the last couple of days. I can show you all another fude pen and wash experiment that I did. It's a fun medium, but values are incredibly tricky to control. Also I really messed up the proportions on this one.

@Chris Legaspi Thank you! In a way, yes. The model is extremely athletic, and she does have wide shoulders. I might have pushed it a bit further than intended though.

The curse of long torsos won't leave me alone. I also tried to be a bit looser with my line work and shading. I'm into this red-and-blue combo, I think I'll stick with it for a while.
Weekly work
Some drawings I did over the weekend. I'm trying to be more intentional and create completed drawings

I find it fascinating that you gave the guy a baby face. I tend to age my models, so it's helpful to see what makes people look younger.

@Carmen Naidoo Great job then! For me it's a question of how many years I randomly add to my subject. :D
Daily Work, Jan 26, Week 3
It's been a wild week creatively. I feel this incredible force. This pull. Something has taken over me. Pulling me in a new(ish) direction. It's pretty cool. As the Christians would say, "I have the Holy Spirit" in me. Anyway I've been experimenting like crazy. The weekly Bangkok life drawing was yesterday. These watercolors looks crazy to me. I was possessed. I think they look pretty dope. I was basically trying to be as fearless and bold and risk taking as possible. Trying to channel my watercolor hero Nathan Fowkes.

@Chris Legaspi Beautiful ballpoint pen drawings!
Daily Practice (Jan 26th)
I spent a bit more time on the guy than I usually do. Also I had to invent the lighting, because the one in the reference made little sense. Had to give him ninja stealth pants to avoid drawing folds. :D

@Chris Legaspi Thank you! It's probably the best arm I ever drew :D

Shaking things up a bit. Here are two minute gestures done with a fude pen and wash, and a longer drawing with the same materials.
Daily Practice (Jan 20th)
I'm back from vacation, it means less sketching, more studying. I'm still need to solve some issues at home, so I'll have less time to draw than usual. For now, here's a page of gestures. I haven't done it for a week or so, and I feel absolutely rusty. :D

I couldn't figure out how to draw a small head from the reference, so it turned into a somewhat more ambitious drawing. :D I also spent some time watching lectures on anatomy.

@Chris Legaspi Thank you! Now that you mention it, I do see it as well.
