One of our members alerted me today to one of her ads being rejected.
This was happening a lot last year when we were asking for a child's date of birth - changing that to asking for the child's age seemed to fix the problem.
Some of my done-for-you Ads Management clients ads got rejected today and I noticed that none of them had an active Privacy Policy on their website.
So here's what to do if you are running ads or considering paid ads on Facebook/Instagram:
- Update your website to include a current Privacy Policy page (not a PDF)
- If your ads are still being rejected, consider changing the Instant Form question about the child's age to a multiple choice question with age ranges (that is what I am going to try next).
Please let me know in the comments if this has happened to your ads and what worked to fix the issue...
