Paid Ads - location targeting

I know a lot of studios are running paid ads at the moment on Facebook & Instagram… and I am seeing ads for some studios in a different state to where I live.

This can happen if I had been in that state in the last month, but I haven’t – so this is a friendly reminder that since the Andromeda update this year, Meta often has a box automatically ticked in your location settings at the Ad Set level that allows the campaign to ‘Reach more people likely to respond to your ads.’

Make sure you untick that box so that your ad doesn’t get shown to people outside of your target area 😊
