I wasted 2 weeks making my first lead magnet "perfect" in Canva at 51.
Nobody cared what it looked like. They cared that it worked.
Here's what I learned:
๐ฉ Red Flag #1: Overthinking the design You're in Canva tweaking fonts while your YouTube traffic bounces. The design matters way less than the value inside. Simple PDFs or even plain text emails work.
๐ฉ Red Flag #2: No automated delivery system You create the lead magnet but manually email it to people. That's not scalable. You need ConvertKit (or similar) to auto-deliver and build your list.
๐ฉ Red Flag #3: Not demonstrating the funnel ON people Your lead magnet should show the full conversion process: Click โ Email โ Opt-in โ Delivery. If you're not practicing what you preach, they won't trust it works.
Which one's tripping you up? 1, 2, or 3?
