Today, we recognise ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐งโ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ, a day that began more than a century ago when women around the world organised for better working conditions, voting rights, and equal opportunities.
In the early 1900s, women marched, spoke out, and challenged systems that limited their voice. What began as labour and equality movements slowly grew into a global day of recognition.
Today, itโs both a celebration and a reminder.
๐ผ A celebration of womenโs achievements
๐ผ A reminder of the progress still to be made
๐ผ A moment to reflect on how we support one another.
But meaningful progress has never been built by women alone.
It has also been supported by fathers, brothers, partners, friends, colleagues, and communities who believe in respect, dignity, and equality.
In DAfree Awareness Movement these values are at the heart of what we explore together, conversations around awareness, healthy relationships, and the importance of creating safe and respectful spaces for everyone. Because empowerment is not about division. Itโs about building cultures where respect and safety are normal for all ๐ผ
So today Iโm curious:
