Imposter Syndrome Isn’t the Problem. Staying Comfortable Is.
I meet a lot of entrepreneurs who say:
“I’m just trying this out.”
“I’m seeing what happens.”
And at first — that’s great.
But when months (or even years) go by and nothing changes, it’s usually not because you’re incapable.
It’s because staying comfortable feels safer than committing.
I get it. Building something real is scary. It’s intimidating. And it’s easy to feel like you don’t belong yet.
But here’s the truth:
You’re not an imposter.
You’re someone in the middle of becoming.
Growth starts when you:
  • Take yourself seriously
  • Identify your strengths and your gaps
  • Take action before you feel ready
Be willing to FAIL. Be willing to be CRITICIZED.
That discomfort isn’t a warning sign — it’s evidence that you’re learning.
Every step forward is one lesson closer to leveling up and reaching your goals.
And it all starts with you.
If you want support, structure, and a community that helps you move from “trying things out” to building something solid, the DBR Bookkeeping community is here to help — with clarity, systems, and real conversations around money and business.
Let’s start Doing Business Right.
