Question about iCord Products

Years ago, someone said to me they didn’t like “Chachskies” or Knick knacks because they were dust collectors and something else to clean. I do collect African Art (planters, statues, etc.) but at the time just thought whatever, and to each their own. With this in mind I don’t give this person a gift that has to be cleaned. So, this brings me to my question, after making the keychain and coaster, I wondered how do you keep them clean? After looking for things I could make with my grandchildren, I’m hesitant to give anything as a gift.
