Thank you for the original pattern that is in the VIP Pattern Library. Instructions were very good, but I still messed up. I didn’t end up with the rib look, but it still worked. My iPhone gets hot quickly and I keep getting messages it needs to cool down before I can continue taking pictures. So I decided to use the pattern with slight adjustments to put my iPhone in along with an ice pack. It still needs some tweaking though 1) I used shelf liner (that I think is a vinyl) to make a pouch insert 2) I put key chain rings on the insert and added iCord for the crossbody strap
3) I used the clip on the keychain to attach to the knitted “bottle”
Problems
1) the knitted bottle did not stay in place and still got stretched
2) the ice pack in the pouch caused it to sweat, consequently, phone did stay cool but the screen was foggy and it was also getting damp
3) the knitted pouch did get “wet” from the inner pouch sweat
Suggestions on how I can fix this are always welcome
Unfortunately, I got so involved with what should have been a very easy project that I forgot to join the Social Craft Hour.
