parking charge

Hi, Im messaging for some advice as I haven’t been in this situation before and before I make any decisions I thought I would come to someone who could point me in the right direction.

I today have received a letter from a debt collection agency (DCBL - DIRECT COLLECTIONS BAILIFFS LTD) requesting £170 for a parking charge saying that I can’t appeal it. Even though this is the first letter I have received about it. The parking charge happened on 09/02/2021 and I’m not really sure what I should do because I don’t want to be paying £170 for a parking fine when I only parked there because I was working in m&s and I gave them my car reg details and they must not of passed my details on. What steps should I take next.
