3 month update.
Happy Sunday everyone. I thought I would share my message from the Universe today as a great one for everyone after the Live session last week. Yesterday I wore a pair of jeans I haven't worn for a couple years. Loose in the legs and fitted around the tummy area but for me that will be the last area to show a big difference after severe PCOS history and now perforated Sigmoid colon healing. 6kgs still only down so what is happening I am healing from the inside first to get to the outer layer as Jeff explained, and it was a big lesson in patience I learnt after my operation last year where I ended up with a massive hole in my stomach. The same healing process had to happen. I had a pump dressing for 5 weeks to make sure my wound healed from inside to the outside and closed up. I had it for 24 hours a day on and yes tested my patience but I healed quicker than they thought 3 months minimum. So this process we are doing the same, so for me it will take awhile because of my history right from when I was born. I have been lucky where sport from a early part of my life I was involved in. What I am enjoying now is taking all what I learnt and adding to getting more out of my workouts. My husband and I did competition Dragon Boating for 5 years and very lucky to have as our personal trainer a Exercise Physiologist that was part of our physiotherapist practice team. What we learnt about our bodies and LOL especially between my husband and myself and men vs women. Also how to work with old injuries, when we had current injuries etc to modify our exercise. How to change our workout if we weren't 100%. This is helping me over the last 3 months to get where I am now and going forward. 5 to 6 days workouts. Saturday morning I did what from my old Zumba days what we called a express 1/2 hr workout. So what I chose was a class that you did 5000 steps in 30 mins, no stops and every 45 seconds new exercise. LOL I was sweating in at 37% of the class done. (I use YouTube classes because I need to take my injuries into consideration working out until I build my body up). I have right from the beginning of the 3 months worn my Piloxing gloves which are 500g each glove. This is definitely helping with my toning of the arms but I can also feel in my back shoulder blades when I do certain exercises as well. First time for quiet a few years I have been able to have something different for breakfast other than my smoothie for breakfast so I now have my powders in a drink with my breakfast.
Definitely getting fitter and losing inches and the calmness in my body. Yes patience sometimes is very hard but I am definitely going forward and there will be ups and downs but these changes are for life and not a fix it for a period of time. For me I also want to be my norm so when things happen in life it does not throw me off track. Last week the company I work for was taken over by a big US Investment company. It is a bit different when it is a Investment company as the running of the company stays the same, name etc but they are there to invest capital to grow your company. For me as I am in the Finance team and assistant to the Finance Controller and her back up, the next 90 days will be transitional and a lot of work for US & Australia Govt laws to do reporting for. What I noticed was no stress eating, I am still doing my workouts etc. So my body and mind is a lot calmer and I will work through the initial transitional process then of course a lot more changes to come.
A lot of positives for me starting 3 months ago even though there has been a lot of changes trying different things. I am looking forward to continuing this journey personally and with everyone.
