Retatrutide and KLOW guidelines
Here is an outline of the dosages for the Reta and KLOW. A summary is we want to start on 1mg per week of the retatrutide and 1 mg of the KLOW daily. We can adjust the dosages individually based on your bodys response.

@Kim Carter I’m on the same dosage and my weight has also become stagnant, I lost 2.5kg’s quickly and nothing since. Today I struggled with hunger despite having my Reta dosage this morning. I think I’ll up my dosage on my next dose. Interested to hear how you go upping the dose.

Reta dosage
How is everyone going with Reta? I’m currently doing a split dose, 1mg x twice weekly with very minimal side effects but looking to shift to 2mg x once per week, did anyone get an increase of side effects when you upped the dose? Thanks all 😊

@Mandy Cousins yes, I wasn’t sleeping well at night, I found myself tossing and turning. Moving it to the morning I seem to sleep well at night now again.

@Erin Leahy how exciting!!! The only side effects I get from KLOW are occasional stinging/burning at the injection site. It wouldn’t matter whether it was morning or night, it is still the same. I’m currently doing Reta in the morning and KLOW at night and so far minimal side effects so will stick with it for now. Good luck 👍
Aminos
Hi Jeff, I know we are not counting protein intake so much now as we are taking our aminos. The instructions say take 1/2hr before exercise which I've been doing. Do we need some kind of protein right after a weight session still which is normal school of thought? I don't take my powders anymore.

@Erin Leahy me too, I don’t mind it at all.
Scales and weight
Really honestly get rid of your scales during the journal of healing your body. I was reading my old journals the other day when I was at another stage of healing and I had noted how the scales had not moved much but my body had lost so many inches and changed shape as different stage again in life. I put my scales away a couple weeks ago and last week when hanging up one of my work shirts I realised I had not undone the buttons to take it off and just able to slip over my head. Today my 3/4 white jeans were certainly loose looking in the legs and felt a bit loose around the stomach. I was weighed when I went into hospital and had lost 6 kgs but I guarantee if I got on the scales now I would not have lost anything or put it on and for me it will play too much on this journey. As my journal said last time it really did take 18 months to end up at a healthy weight and slim toned fit body and able still enjoy life and not be restricted in any way. I am 60 in November so my body shape will be changing again and I have not set any weight to get to as I am at a different stage in life. For example 18 years old 57 kgs 5ft 6, late 40's to 50's 65 kg and fit, slim & healthy but totally different shape. Since I have lived under specialist since 3 months old with hormone issues I have always said this is the last time of healing my body. I am doing a lot of trialling and changing things as I go on this journey to see what my body really needs at the moment. Up to 2 weeks ago up until the double colonoscopy I had got back to intermittent fasting as my body felt like that. Afterwards I tried changing my breakfast again but gone back to my smoothie last week but now my meals are a lot smaller for lunch and I have a light meal for dinner anytime before 6pm. My workouts are different Tabata or HIIT classes full body exercises and always wear my Piloxing gloves which are only .5 kg weights but I can put more definition into weight resistance in working out and wear them when doing weights as well. Before my body went down hill my favourite class with my PT was a HIIT full boxing class with including sit ups as on of the stations in the 30 mins class then I would do his pilates class after my quick walk to get the lactic acid out. Also of course on the water Dragon Boating or OC. It is something my husband and I want to get back doing leisurely when we finish our landscaping with a Kayak for him & OC for me to do days on the rivers or sea on the Sunshine Coast.
