Couple questions
1. Looking for exercises to keep/get the bow muscles strong and flexible. Have been losing weight to be healthier and looking for home dumbbell workout to tone up. Appreciate any suggestions 2. My wife has had 3 failed shoulder surgeries. She is getting by with physical therapy once a week to keep her shoulder mobile. She expressed interest in shooting a recurve. Looking for training for her shoulder issue that may help with range of motion if that is even possible? Also, recurve recommendation for her. She is 5’ 1”. Thank you
Cheap junk or not?
Has anyone else tried these ace broadheads? I've never used them before but I grabbed a pack for this new set of arrows im gonna build. But straight out of the package im not gonna lie, im very unimpressed. The bevels are rough cut which I don't mind, but they aren't even close to uniform. One of them is missing the bevel on one side altogether. And two of them don't appear to be straight. They were what I considered affordable, but I expected better for the price I paid. It's not even worth returning them to 3 rivers with all the border fees I paid to get them here.

Hunting point preference
For hunting hare or rabbits, what do you prefer? Broadhead or small game blunts? I typically use hex heads or 38 special casings. But I found these broadheads for dirt cheap on Amazon and I thought i'd try them out. 6 pack for 16 bucks. I weighed them, the heaviest being 130grains and the lightest being 122grains, the rest were hovering between 127 and 128. They seem really solid. Im not going to use them on big game, I have good heads for that but I thought for bouncing off the ground shooting at hare they'lldefinitely be okay.

Tophat adapters
Does anyone here have any experience with those tophat screw on adapters for wood arrows? They seem pretty sweet, I dont know if id use them on big game but being able to change heads on my stumping arrows from stumpers, to field point, to broadheads just in the truck sounds pretty cool. Curious how they hold up.
Black bears
Got a question for you black bear hunters…so I got invited to go on a black bear hunt in about two more weeks. I’ve never hunted them before and have the opportunity to hunt them with a bow. The hunt will be over bait (which is legal) and from a blind of some sort. I’m wondering if my 64” Toelke Whip drawing 48# with 660 grain arrows is adequate? I’ve been studying over black bear anatomy and skeletal structure and I’m not seeing anything that makes me think that I need anything heavier. There again, I’ve never hunted them before. I do have a takedown recurve that’s drawing 54# and the arrows I use with it are right at 700 grains. Thanks in advance for your input and advice.
