Thank you to everyone who showed up live today. We talked about something most traditional bowhunters don’t want to admit: Backyard confidence does not always equal field readiness. Under pressure, weak links show up. If you missed the training or want to rewatch it - the replay is below. At the end of the session, I shared something new. The Hunt Ready 6-Week Mentorship is now open. This is not another content dump. It’s structured progression with: • Weekly LIVE coaching • Direct feedback & accountability • A 1-on-1 onboarding call • 6 weeks of a daily video - recorded - self paced viewing • Clear pressure testing • A defined, repeatable shot process We are limiting this to 12 to15 serious bowhunters. If you watched the training and realized there’s still a gap in your process this is your opportunity to close it. Enrollment is now open. 👉 Hunt Ready 6 Week Live Mentorship If you’re ready to stop hoping you’re ready…and start knowing you are. Grant is looking forward to working with you and he will see you inside the Mentorship! 🎁 Mentorship starts Feb. 17th for a 8pm ET - Welcome Call! 🤝

👋 Welcome to TradBowhunter - Ethical Predator
If you’re here, it’s because you believe something most people don’t: How you hunt matters. Not just the result - the process. This community is for traditional bowhunters who value: - Ethics over shortcuts - Discipline over gear - Process over outcome - Tradition as something you live, not just talk about You don’t have to prove anything here. You just have to respect the craft. My name is Jenn Richardson, my husband, Grant Richardson and I created this group, TradBowhunter - Ethical Predator. This is a passion piece for Grant and I...My hubby, the subject matter expert with Traditional Bowhunting as well as an author, podcast host and 3rd generation traditional bowhunter. We wanted to bring like minded people together and create a place to share their experiences with traditional bowhunting. 🧭 HOW THIS COMMUNITY WORKS (IMPORTANT) There are two valid paths here - both are respected. 🟢 Free Members Some bowhunters: - Learn quietly - Practice when they can - Improve steadily over time That path is welcome here. 🔥 Premium Members (Optional) Others want: - Structure - A repeatable shot process - Coaching instead of guessing Premium exists for clarity and progression, not status. 👉 You never need Premium to belong. It's about timing - not commitment. 🚦 DO THIS FIRST (2 MINUTES) 1️⃣ Introduce Yourself (Do This Now) Create a post and answer one or two of these: - Where are you shooting from? - How long have you been shooting traditional? - What’s the ONE thing you want to improve right now? Short posts are perfect. 2️⃣ Start in the Classroom Go to the Classroom and begin with: 👉 Start Here This will save you months of trial and error. 3️⃣ Engage Once This Week You don’t need to post every day. Just: - Comment on one post - Ask one question - Share one small win

Knives
After seeing @Paul Jackson post about the knives he made, thought I would share a few I have made. I didn’t want to hijack his post. 1st three pics are a knife I finally made for myself. This drop point is 1095 steel with a deer antler handle made from a shed I found on property adjacent to our Camp. The next I made for our Bear hunting guide and his wife. The next two were made for friends and the last one I made for my aunt to give to my Uncle for Christmas. I make all my own sheaths and leather stamps.

After the live call today I walked out on the back porch to enjoy the sunshine. I hear some rustling coming from the siding on the house and out pops this mole who proceeds to scurry towards the birdfeeder. I step in and put on my glove and grab my longbow. He’s rifling thru all the empty sunflower seeds on the ground as I come back out. At roughly 5-6 yards, I follow the shot process focusing on its head. Bow arm, draw/anchor 1second pause, release/follow through 1 second pause. I watched my arrow skewer it, bounce off the frozen ground and skip about 15 feet into the snow. I’ve been working diligently on the process for the last week because I wasn’t having consistency in my shots. It’s just a lil rodent, but that was very gratifying seeing my shot come together on such a small target! 🏹
