Well known bowyer and longbow Hunter passed this week. A close friend of Howard Hills chief bowyer. John Shultz - he made some fine ASL bows “ Moose Jaw” bows. He corresponded with my father as well over the years regarding American semi longbows in particular string follow sets. Black and white photo of Gary Sentman and John Schulz., who made a world record bow for Gary Sentman to use to break the Howard Hill world record handheld drawn bow. Howard Hill drew 172#28." The bow John Schulz made for Gary was just a bit heavier...and Gary drew it to 28 & 1/4," which was determined to be 176#!
