who are your guys’ favorite fragrance influencers?

besides Scenteno ofc haha, i need to give everyone a fair shot, sorry brother 😔, your content is amazing though.

I’ve always had a mixed view of influencers, because a good amount of them make exaggerated or fake reviews solely to get a paycheck or cool stuff. I get it, gotta bring that bread in, but it does skew honesty and genuine opinions in such a subjective topic.

That being said, i wanna make a list of some of my personal favorite influencers, ones who influenced me, and got me into good perfumery in the first place.

Prologue mention is Jeremy Fragrance. I find him so odd and funny, and a bit unhinged, and i don’t watch his content all that much anymore, but it’s criminal not to mention him. He’s the og of og’s.

At number one is Noel Smells. this is the fragrance review account of the awesome bodybuilder Noel Deyzel. He’s always been a role model to me, and i’ve been a huge fan of his content since day one. He inspired me through some of my worst moments, and was that father figure i needed for so long. Anyways with that being said, i was extremely happy when he started reviewing fragrances.

He’s always been extremely kind and good to his followers and fanbase, and doesn’t sugarcoat stuff. He’s respectful and acknowledges the subjectivity of fragrances, while having some great and a very refined taste of his own.

He also got me into more of the niche leaning stuff, as Noel’s personal favorites are the very refined and artistic, and prefers wearing what he wants over mass appealing. I was put onto perfume houses like zoologist and orto parisi from him.

Number 2 from me has to be FBFragrances. He’s a younger guy with a more teenage and ya crowd, but he’s funny, honest, and gives good reviews on fragrances. Hes open and honest too, and will always give a genuine review on what he does or doesn’t like, even if he’s sent a deal or free products to review for money. For me personally, he feels a lot more authentic than others.

Number 3 for me is Fragrance Flan. People describe him as the Gordon Ramsay of fragrance reviews, and while i do see that as an exaggeration, i do find him funny. Once again, he’s a fairly open and honest influencer with some caveats, and it’s fun to watch him tear into stuff sometimes lol. I like his very direct and no bullshit approach, and he’s also got fantastic knowledge.

At number 4, i love McNasty Fragrances. I’ve always enjoyed his content as a gaming and comedy channel, and was presently surprised when he started making content. He has a similar, honest, no bullshit approach to reviewing, and i appreciate that.

Number 5 is a bit controversial, and the reason i mention it is more because of personal feelings, but Noel Thomas is another favorite of mine. He gets flak for being a bit plastic feeling and inauthentic, which i agree he is a bit, but he was the first fragrance influencer i started watching. I do find his content very engaging, as he has a decently magnetic personality, and the way he describes scents very visually, i enjoy thoroughly. He’s great for beginners wanting to get into perfume collecting, although Noel Smells is probably better.

Number 6 we have Cubaknows. Another straight to the point, no bs influencer who has a wide range of scents reviewed, from niche to designer. I love his vibe, outfit style, and a super chill voice. Reminds me of the cool uncle who always buys you fire ass gifts for christmas.

Number 7 i have Melissa Nacional. While not strictly a fragrance influencer she does do a lot of reviews of men’s fragrances, and it’s nice seeing a review of them from a woman’s perspective… on what other women like lol. She also has this really weird, dry, odd, deadpan sense of humor that i vibe with. Idk hahaha.
