If you’re a fan of Xerjoff’s 40 Knots, this fragrance is definitely for you. I first smelled 40 Knots at The Scent Masters with the other Xerjoff fragrances Roger had to offer. Although I did find it to be reminiscent of the sea: salty, sea water, woody, I passed on it for a couple of other Xerjoff fragrances I liked better.

Now today I’m wearing Bowline from Barrett and the minute I put it on this morning it reminded me of 40 Knots- which is its inspiration. I find myself liking this a lot and hope it has some decent longevity.
