Sote: ATH Onyx Extreme

I've tried Onyx and Onyx Air, with mixed results, and Onyx Extreme followed suit. I must have a sensitivity to the rose absolute, because it dominates my olfactory for a solid hour and a half. All I can smell is this pungent, strong, sharp rose, with literally nothing else coming through until it calms down. After that, however, the light oud, vanilla, amber, touch of chocolate, and other light floral notes are all present, beautiful and very well blended with the rose. At this point, sillage is moderate to mild, but steady. No doubt it leaves an interesting scent bubble, for those lucky enough to be in your presence. At the 5 hour mark, I'm still getting light whiffs as I move around, and it'll probably be on my skin tomorrow.

I'm going to keep hitting my10ml bottle, in hopes I'll somehow develop immunity to the nuclear rose open, and be able to enjoy this from start to finish. Has anyone else tried any of Aaron's Onyx fragrances?
