SOTD: Swiss Arabian Tabacco 01

Today's scent of the day is Swiss Arabian Tobacco 01. The top notes on this fragrance are:

• Plum

• Apple

• Licorice

• Cumin

• Pink pepper

The middle notes are:

• Labdanum

• Ambber

• Patchouli

• Ylang-ylang

The base notes are:

• Tobacco

• Honey

• Vanilla

• Sandalwood

• Musk

• Cashmere

This got me curious because this is another one of those plum and tobacco fragrances. So I decided to just do a test spray of the Zaharoff Leather Tobacco as well, which you might have seen from my previous post on that fragrance, the Zaharoff was not something that I was fond of, and this comparison just reinforces that. If you want a beautifully blended plum tobacco fragrance, you can't go wrong with the Swiss Arabian. It's pleasant, it's still has that plum juiciness, the apple, the licorice, and the pink pepper are giving it that brightness, the cumin giving it that little bit of earthiness. It has that Middle Eastern vibe with the combination of the cumin and the tobacco. Where as the Zaharoff is just trying to do too much in my opinion. That birch tar I think was the one that was giving me that sour note, and after looking at the note breakdown, I think that's the case.

It's a late start to today, so I won't have time to do the hour-by-hour breakdown. I'm not even tracking this Swiss Arabian Tobacco 01 in the app. It's about 4:44 pm, probably gonna hang around in the backyard smoking a cigar, so I decided just to throw on the tobacco one and see how it does with the cigar.
