SOTD: ARGOS JUPITERS LIGHTNING

This is Argos doing a fresh fragrance without making it smell like another generic freshie.

Right out of the gate I get that bright citrus and juniper with the cardamom giving it a little spice. As it settles, the tea, orris and saffron start showing up and give it more depth than I was expecting. Then you get that clean, woody base of cypress, cedar and musk.

Fresh, aromatic, slightly spicy and very polished. It has that niche quality I look for, but it’s still extremely easy to wear.

Performance is strong too. I get very good projection and sillage, especially during the first few hours, and it has enough longevity to carry me through a good part of the day. For a fresher fragrance, it definitely doesn’t feel weak.

For Arizona, this is right in my wheelhouse especially when I want something fresh that still has some character and doesn’t disappear into the heat.
