Oud Yusha by Ensar Oud
Well after PT today I decided I needed more depth today and decided on Oud Yusha. From the Trat area and distilled in 2010 this traditional Cambodian style Oud is everything delicious about the style. Jammy plum fruits, incense, woody and resinous there was a total of 22 Tola or around 90ml in total from this distillation.
If I had to guess I would say this was done in a traditional copper pot style.
On opening there is a slight minty brightness to it that almost leans towards a Borneo style. While that does stay slightly, very quickly the body of it comes more to the forefront. Somehow I lost some of my notes I had written about this beauty. That or I’m just old and forgetful where the notebooks are at and only have my written card in the box with minimal info. Sigh. 😔
A beautiful dark honey color and slightly thicker than a motor oil for reference.
People today don’t realize just how long a 1/4 Tola will last since it’s only a swipe onto the wrist for application.
