No Aura of sent? Doing something wrong?

So i own Taylor of Old Bond Stree cologne in thw sent of Sandalwood. Its a rub on from its original bottle. For ease of application I put it into a spray bottle.

I apply what I feel is alot (3 sprays per arm, 3 chest not shirt, 1 neck), but everyone i ask say they dont smell anything. Even my wife sitting beside me. I know it on as I can smell my arms and still smell it. Im not looking for anything crazy, but shoulder to shoulder I would expect something.

So am i doing something wrong here?
