This 1/4 tola was made around 2008 and I purchased it in 2009 from Taha when he was first starting out in the Oud industry and building Agar Aura. I remember talking with him and wanting a Borneo/Malaysian style Oud. He had just distilled this and I remember when it first came I was thinking this needs a bit to mature. Well it’s grown boys. I’ve not worn this much other then to check on it. Wow.

Minty, woody, mild fruit. Mild incense and spice. Zero funk. This is parfum hiding in oud clothing. Longevity sillage and projection????? Yup. Beast mode? No. But always present. You would swear there is saffron in this with a leather accord but nope. That’s the beauty of real artisanal oud boys.
