Fragrance Experiment - Cheap vs. Expensive

So this is what I've been doing lately. On the left is an $8 bottle of fragrance bought from Lidl, and on the right is the more expensive one. So I really wanted to experiment if people really notice the difference between the cheap one and the expensive one.

Does price really matter in fragrance? That's the question I wanted to figure out!

And simply put, after doing the experiment, I can clearly say that I got more compliments of me smelling good working with the expensive one.

I would love to hear your perspective on it.
