Emporio Armani - Stronger with you Powerfully

I promised I would try the new SWY Powerfully, and I finally did yesterday night at a Marionnaud shop which just got it on the same day 😉
- Testing Conditions: I tested on strip and skin, two puffs, got the chance to compare it at the shop and on strip with Intensely, and then couple of hours later on skin with Parfum (that I own). Between the testing and getting home, I did 2 hours of groceries and got stuck on tram, and I could not only smell it myself, but I could notice people eyeing me several times, not always in a good way. One 30 y/o girl looked at me like I over-sprayed, and I thought "oh poor girl, you are in for a rough year with the youngsters" 😅
- What it is overall: get cherries right off the bat, good matured ones, not synthetic, then 30 minutes later they disappear. If you wanted a long lasting cherry fragrance, get ready to be disappointed. SWY Powerfully is part of the SWY line, so people will be familiar with the dry down of chestnut, amberwood and vanilla. Or said as a beginner "It smells like caramel with vanilla and some little piece of nut so that it is not too sweet". so its dry down is between Intensely and Parfum of the same line, i.e. the caramel of Intensely but crossed with the more classy scent of the Parfum. It is totally redundant to own it if you already have anything of the same line. The projection is brutal for the first 2 hours but then (thank god) it calms down and become a skin scent pretty quickly. It will NOT last 24 hours, even as skin scent. At best (and spraying more than once) you COULD get 14 hours.
- The occasion: this scent is a date night winter scent, no doubt about it. It is something you like to come back and smell when it dries down. If you go anywhere during the first 2 hours, you WILL get noticed as it projects like a beast. When it cools off, it is very pleasant - Not really for mature men (me being +40 I do not think I can rock this) but any man under age 35 or that are not "dad" can wear that easily as long as he can assume that beast mode during the first 2 hours.
- The competition: I am trying to find a cherry that last. Not synthetic, not too sweet, not young but not too matured either. This one here is nice: the cherry is relatively nice, but it does not last. Out of the bat, there are other competitors that I found in the name of TF Cherry Smoke (what a scent! My favorite so far), Scandal pour Homme Elixir (need to try it out a second time - I did not like it at first). Happy to get some suggestions!
