Greenley alternative?
Hey all! Long time no chat! Over past two months, I have been meddling with loads of perfumes, and I can now narrow some of my preferences. Thanks to this brotherhood, and after several weeks of testing, I recently bought a bottle of GN Tonic Micaleff. I must say that without you guys recommendation, I would never have found this beauty, so thank you a lot to all of you bros out there! In the "apple" note department, I have had fantastic holidays wearing a sample of Parfum de Marley Greenley. I really like this perfume but apart from the high price tag, I would like something slightly creamier, if that makes sense. The apple is there and it stays somewhat natural (could be objectively better), but I feel it too citrussy and light to my taste. Could you once more give a brother a hand and some advice? I know French Avenue has somewhat a good dupe of it, and I will try it in the coming days, but like I said, it is more about finding a different take on this scent profile Thanks! :-)

Frag Battle: Dior Sauvage Elixir vs Bleu de Chanel EDP (Pick One & Why)
Two heavyweights. Two very different styles. Option 1: Dior Sauvage Elixir - Bold, rich, spicy, loud, attention-grabbing. Option 2: Bleu de Chanel Parfum - Smooth, versatile, refined, and easy to wear in almost any situation. So let’s debate it: If you could only keep one, which are you choosing? Sauvage Elixir or Bleu de Chanel EDP? Make your case: Which one wins on scent, versatility, performance, compliment factor, and overall value? Bonus: Which fragrance would you recommend more often to the average guy?

I am very biased because I really cannot stand Sauvage smell at all. I don't know, maybe my tastes are somewhat strange, because I have the same repulsion to Sauvage with Aventus creed and Altair, all of which I really cannot smell nor wear.
SOTD - Bvlgari Rain Essence, layered with Le Labo Another 13
...Because I tested both for a while, and I felt like this should be tried. I was researching a 3rd office scent (first is BDC EDT, second is Amyris/Gentle Fluidity Silver, I am still undecided), and I really like the smell of Rain Essence and in a lesser way Another 13. So I did 3 sprays of Another 13, and 5 of Bvlgari Rain Essence. - Le Labo Another 13 has this paper smell which I do not dislike, but I cannot see this as my main note. However, it is long lasting, as in this is one of my paper strip that still smell almost a month after being sprayed upon. I needed something more to it. - Bvlgari Rain Essence is something I fell in love at first sniff, both at opening and dry down. Opening smell orange but in a peppery way, with hints of tea, something very addictive. Mid is a strange road though (smell disappear or has strange facets) but you start to have some wood, musk and I can pick up that lotus/Gaiac wood combo which I personally adore. Dry down is musk and amber done right, not overpowering, just a nice combo. But then it does not last at all, and need to respray every now and then. Result is a mixed bag: I get something that has value, but Rain essence tends to be overpowered by Another 13. I have a full bottle of Rain Essence coming its way, and some sample of Another 13 still. I will provide update as I am going to search the equilibrium - I am expecting 1-2 spray of Another 13 and still 5-6 of Rain Essence.

Bvlgari Man Rain Essence
Given I’m entering into rebirth for the shoulder, I chose this today merely based on the description listed below, restoration. Bvlgari Man Rain Essence is an invitation to experience the unstoppable creative power of water through the transformative and restorative power of rain. Powerful and indispensable as rain, Bulgari Man Rain Essence is a unique fresh woody musk fragrance permeated with clear and radiant notes. It is given strength by energetic mineral accords that bring to mind the purity of this rejuvenating natural element. TOP NOTES: green tea essence and orange essenceMIDDLE NOTES: accord of white lotus and accord of crystalline muskBASE NOTES: mineral amber accord and guaiac wood essence

I have tried it yesterday for the first time. Very slept on, I like it a lot and can be part of Office scent rotation easily.

After testing it for a full week, I find that it is extremely weak - I have to respray every 4 hours. Does anybody know a perfume with a similar scent that lasts a tad longer? Or alternatively a manner to make it stand out a bit more and/or last longer
