Calling All DE / Safety Razor Shavers

Hi. I'm about to embark on my DE shaving journey and one of the (many) things I'm wondering about is how scented the various products are, and how they might clash with the fragrances (EdT/EdP) that I already wear. I can't help but think I don't want to be splashing my face with aftershave.

I don't think I have particularly sensitive skin, or a tough beard, and razor burn isn't something I suffer from with my Mach3. So can I go without? Use a balm or something else instead?

If you have any recommendations for un or lightly scented products available in the UK, then please let me know.
